Skyla - Main character (Skye)
Man in Black - Un-named character.
Emma - Skyla's best fried. Does not find out much during story
Lucy - Decides to snoop around Skyla herself. Another best friend of Skyla's
Parents - Very supporting of Skyla, but Skyla does not let them in on her life much
Kaitlin - Skyla's nosy older sister. Knows a lot about Skyla and the "man in black"
Alexandria - Not a friend of Skyla's. (Lexi)
Celeste - A friend of Lexi's. Celeste is the "leader" of them two and always tells Lexi what to do.

Who did it?
Kaitlin was in charge of it all. She bribed her friend's uncle to go to Mrs. Aubreys classroom and take the report card files.
Why?
She was unhappy about her sixth grade report card.
What was on it?
Once Mrs. Aubrey caught Kaitlin cheating off of her neighbors paper. She gave Kaitlin afternoon detentions for a week. She gave Kaitlin a zero for the semester.
What were in the report card files?
Mrs. Aubreys username and password of the schools security system. She made her reports card online.
What did Kaitlin plan on doing?
After having the report card files in her hand, Kaitlin attempted an evil laugh. She failed. She was going to log on the system and change her grades so she could get into a college. The college she wants to get into would not accept her if they see a ND on her sixth grade report card.
What stopped Kaitlin?
Skyla, and her conscience. She knew what she did was wrong, and knew she couldn't cheat her way into college.

Storyline ~
Skyla goes to Mrs. Aubreys
Sees man in black and watches for approximately 30 seconds
Man notices Skyla and opens door. Warns Skyla.
Lexi watches Skyla through window. Skyla does not notice.
Celeste comes up and goes with Lexi.
Skyla gets the black suitcase. Takes out things.
Mrs. Aubrey is late for work. Alarm clock does not go off.
Skyla goes home and considers telling parents about the man in black. All Skyla can think about is the man in black.
Skyla has trouble focusing on anything the next day.
Emma and Lucy ask about whats happening the next day but get no response. Lexi walks by and they find out that Lexi knows what has happened.
Skyla is alone at home when her home phone rings. Her mom picks up but Skyla listens along. The man in the black is calling asking for Kaitlin.
The readers still think Celeste stole the report card files.
Kaitlins friends uncle was planning on going to Pennsylvania and Hawaii. He was going to ski, and visit friends and family.
The principal calls in Skyla, Lucy, Emma, Lexi, and Celeste in the principal's office. They go to the waiting room and they each go one-by-one where the principal interviews the girls, asking for their sides of the story.
Kaitlin comes in last, and she asks to talk to the principal.
Skyla asks what shes doing there.
Kaitlin doesn't tell Skyla anything but tells the principal everything. The principal calls the girls all in the conference room, and brings in Skyla and Kaitlins parents. Everyone talks out what happened..
